About
David Johns is a Central Florida photographer based in Orlando, working with companies, executives, and hospitality brands with over 10 years of experience shooting everything from weddings and family portraits to the corporate and editorial work that now makes up most of the studio's calendar.
That range shows up in the work — a comfort directing people in front of a camera who don't usually enjoy being in front of one, and an eye trained on real moments rather than posed ones, carried over from years of shooting live events.
Based in Orlando and working across Central Florida, available on-site for teams and on-location for editorial and commercial projects.
"The goal is the same whether it's one executive or a whole team — a portrait that looks like it was taken on purpose, not just taken."
Most people are uncomfortable in front of a camera. Getting a natural result usually takes active direction, not just good light.
For team and group work, consistency matters more than any single great frame — the same setup, every time.
A LinkedIn headshot, a press photo, and a menu image all have different technical requirements. The edit accounts for where the image is going.
